Blue Merle Male, Blue Eyed “Rey”

Rey (named for Kata’s hometown of Reykjavik, Iceland) is the top dog! He is a beautifully marked Blue Merle with Blue Eyes and everyones favorite when it comes to that Shepherd look. He likes to be up high, often found snoozing up on a chair or on top of their crate. Additionally he was the first one to figure out how to climb the big tree stump in the back yard, making himself the King of the Castle. As well as being top dog, he is a champion napper and loves nothing more than snuggling up on your lap for a nice deep snooze. He is less vocal than his siblings and doesn’t bark unnecessarily. He walks on leash like a dream! He will need consistent training to maintain this but he is definitely ahead of the curve and likes a loose leash as much as we do. He has some hearing deficit, he can hear but sometimes doesn’t know where the sound is coming from, which indicates that it is isolated to one ear. A fenced in yard is important for all herding breeds but a little more so for Rey. He loves to be with people so he doesn’t go far and is eager to come back to you for cuddles and praise.
